My lessons & teaching style: I feel it is important for students to feel as though they have accomplished something by the end of the lesson. I use the heuristic teaching method which encourages students to answer in their own words and explain the topic being discussed. When they debate, I help them to come to their own conclusion by using auxiliary questions to help them grasp the point in their own words.

I have over 7 years of experience in teaching and mentoring students of different ages, and have been teaching English online since August 2022 with Chinese students. It brings me the greatest joy to help students grasp new topics and apply themselves to improve their English speaking ability!

I hold a 120-hour TEFL certificate and I maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills. I also keep my knowledge and teaching skills up to date by attending regular Teacher Development workshops.

I enjoy hiking, climbing, ceramics, and being outside in nature.
